Downloading OverDrive Instructions

Simple Steps to Downloading

 

  1. Visit the library's digital collection at http://lamb.lib.overdrive.com or access Libbythrough your app.

  2. Select Mercer Area Library from the offered list. Sign in to the Libby System with your Mercer Area Library barcode number.

  3. Find a title you want to borrow and click borrow. If the book is unavailable, you may place a hold.

  4. Start reading instantly with the Read in Your Browser option or download to your device. For Kindle users, you will be directed to the Amazon store to borrow your free item. All titles are on a two week loan period and are renewable. You may borrow up to three titles at a time.

  5. Return your items through OverDrive or the Amazon store, and return for more free eBooks and audiobooks!

  6. If you ever have problems using Libby, you can always call, email, or stop in at the library for assistance.

Libby is a library resource that allows you to enjoy eBooks and audiobooks on your computer, phone, tablet, or other mobile devices. It's easy to use, there are no late fees, and it's available 24/7.

 

 

 

 

 

You will need:

  • A computer or tablet with wireless Internet and/or a micro USB cord

  • The Libby App (for phones and tablets-available for free in the iTunes App Store or in the Google Play Store)

  • A Follett Destiny Account

  • An Adobe ID (required for PDF format books)

  • Passwords to your email, Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, etc. account(s)
