MANGO LANGUAGES

Learning a new language with Mango Languages is free for all library patrons and offers a fast and convenient solution for our community’s increasing language-learning needs. Each lesson combines real life situations and audio from native speakers with simple, clear instructions. The courses are presented with an appreciation for cultural nuance and real-world application that integrates components of vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and culture. Users learn actual conversation, breaking down complex linguistic elements within an audio-visual framework that draws important connections and builds on information they have already learned.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are more than 40 foreign language courses available and 16 English as a Second Language (ESL) courses.

To start learning from your mobile device, download Mango Mobile Library Edition for Android, iPhone or iPod and For the apps to work, you must first have an account with Mango set up through the library and an iPhone or Android mobile device. Download the app for your iPhone/iPod or Android device, enter your Mango Languages login information, download a course and start learning at your own pace with or without an Internet connection!  login with your Mango Languages username and password.


Earn social badges and share your language learning progress with friends. With every chapter you complete, you’ll unlock a new Mango badge as a reward for your progress. Post your badges to Facebook and Twitter to strike up friendly competition with fellow Mango users. You can now let your friends and followers know when you’ve finished a Mango lesson or chapter by posting to Facebook and Twitter from within the course.
